HSR problem

Hi,
Im from Croatia and have a problemwith my Bmw 7 F01. I have STEERING!, sign on dash board. Before i bought car same happened and guy replaced HSR modul and all was ok. It happened to me again after i washed my car, so maybe water went into HSR modul.
Can someone tell me do i cneed to code or programing or calibration when i replace HSR modul. I ordered used one and it will come in few days. Please if someone can tell me step by step how to replace it. Do i need unplug battery and just unplug old Hsr and plug in new and foult will dissapear or i need to plug diagnostic and than replace it... Please if someone knows for sure how to replace HSR modul write me procedure. Thank you

have you scanned your car with e.g. ISTA? Any error codes you can share?
Have you tried to check e.g. yt for any tutorials, just like the one below?

480154 - ICM: HSR control unit signalling fault.
So looks like module in the trunk is shot.
Sorry, first I thought the whole steering actuator is damaged.

Best would be to disconnect battery before unpluging the module.
You need to code new one after installing.

After you install new one, most probably you'll see HSR encoding missing fault in the ISTA.
Code it and all should work.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

if anyone has car with rear steering and sign on dash board STEERING!
.. you have to do this:
Buy used HSR modul, numbers doesnt need to be same as original
Disconnect broken modul, connect new hsr modul
And i found guy from BIMMER DOC coding who remotly coded Hsr modul(you need to have yellow ENET cable
After he coded modul(5 min) than he made alignment (10 min), and he deleted errors.
Problem fixed.

So used hsr modul, coding, alignment and that is it.
If car doesn't have rear steering, than you need to replace small battery near the big one.
